03.16.08 | Education Outdoors, Inc. releases new game: The CAMP™ Travel Edition

Eastport, MI February 2009: Three year old Toy & Game manufacturer, Education Outdoors, Inc. has finished the second game under it’s CAMP™ brand. Debuting at the New York International Toy Fair, the new, wooden CAMP™ travel edition is a compact, innovative version of the popular CAMP™ board game.

In 2006 Education Outdoors, Inc. released the CAMP board game to specialty and outdoor retailers. The unique selling proposition of the game was the multi-level playability, where a whole family could play at the same time, (hence the name: “The Game that Grows with You”). The success of the game brought the CAMP Activity Book and the 2nd Edition CAMP booster packs. By January 2009 the CAMP™ line had won numerous awards, and was up in sales by 140%, with the CAMP board game sales at over 35,000 units.

The CAMP Travel edition is designed for up to 4 multi-level players, and has exciting new playability. All new outdoor trivia cards, with vibrant full color images, includes content highlighting all 50 states. The game is an excellent value with an MSRP of $19.99, (great positioning in the wooden game market). Games are scheduled to ship in mid May.
